How long until the turf looks broken in?
It looks final the day the crews we send finish. They brush against the grain to make blades stand up, and the infill helps blades hold shape. There's no 'settling in' period like with sod.
Can I have turf in some areas and live plants in others?
Yes, most of our backyard installs are mixed: turf for the lawn area, hardscape for the patio, mulch beds for plants. We design clean transitions between materials.
What about HOAs?
California law (Civil Code section 4735) prohibits HOAs from blocking artificial turf for residential lawns. Turf is approved in HOAs across the county. We can give you a turf spec sheet to submit if your HOA requires one.
