How long until the turf looks broken in?

It looks final the day we finish. We brush against the grain to make blades stand up, and the infill helps blades hold shape. There's no 'settling in' period like with sod.

Can I have turf in some areas and live plants in others?

Yes — most of our backyard installs are mixed: turf for the lawn area, hardscape for the patio, mulch beds for plants. We design clean transitions between materials.

What about HOAs?

California's water-use legislation (AB-1572) prohibits HOAs from blocking artificial turf for residential lawns. We've installed in dozens of SD County HOAs. We can give you a turf spec sheet to submit if your HOA requires one.
