It uses thicker shock pad underlayment with a documented critical fall height, and the installation has to match the spec for the rating to apply. What fall height can your turf handle?

Depends on the pad thickness. Standard 1-inch pad = 4-foot fall height. 2-inch pad = 8-foot fall. 3-inch = 10+ foot. We size the pad to your tallest deck and provide the IPEMA cert.

Does it meet daycare licensing requirements?

California Title 22 cites ASTM F1292 for fall surface ratings. Our systems test to F1292. We supply documentation for your licensing file.

Is the surface hot for kids?

Lighter-color playground turf with cool-running infill stays significantly cooler than standard turf. Shade over the play area is the bigger factor — we'll talk about siting during the estimate.
